K&L Contractors, Inc. began in 2001 when Roy D. "Boo" Klein and Mike Lout decided to pool their talents on a joint venture. In 2020 Boo Klein bought 100% interest in K&L Contractors, Inc. At the beginning, K&L was in the business of annual injections. But soon, they began constructing well pads, roads and frac ponds. As services increased, more and more equipment was required to perform those services. Now, K&L Contractors, Inc. owns a vast array of heavy equipment and serves all of East, South and West Texas as well as Louisiana, Mississippi and New Mexico.
